Many who understand the superiority of the ideas of liberty simply give up. They see that the downward pull of totalitarianism continues at a relentless pace and come to the conclusion of "What's the point?" This is an error in judgment. The first error is in exclusively focusing on the effect. That is, in the expectation that your words are going to immediately change the minds of those around you who clamor for more authoritarianism. It is human nature to want the achievement of your ends as quickly as possible. That is, we want things immediately. This desire for immediacy is (of course) exploited. Take a look at how the vast majority of individuals, corporations, and governments are all being crushed under mountains of debt. This is what happens when the desire for immediacy is fed and enabled by money that is created out-of-thin-air by central banks. Well, in the arena of ideas, it is natural for those who believe in liberty to want the effect of their speaking to bear fruit right now! And if the effects are not seen right now, the thought of giving up (or worse, i.e., actually joining the totalitarians) becomes enticing to far too many people. But immediate adoption is not how the arena of ideas works. Changing the world "right now" is the belief system that the totalitarians live under. They think they can forcefully implement their ideas of control through legislation, government coercion, and even outright violence. It doesn't work. This is why the totalitarians have a 100% failure rate over time. They come and go...come and go...come and go... Human individuals are very complex. We're all exquisitely unique, with our own personal kingdoms located between our two ears. No one...NO ONE...can force anyone else to believe what they don't want to believe. No amount of legislation, propaganda, or outright violence can force someone to believe what they don't want to believe. This is a lesson that the totalitarians simply refuse to learn. Totalitarians suffer from a "God-Complex." They believe that they can arrange the world to their liking; that they can re-make it in their own image. They can't. And won't. The only consistent results that totalitarians have produced for mankind are mass death. The job of the libertarian is not to change the circumstances as they are. It's too late for that. The circumstances exist because of what people have chosen to believe. That's how it works. Beliefs come first, and consequences follow. So it's an error to look at consequences and say "What's the use?" Instead, one must look at the consequences of creeping totalitarianism and say "What an opportunity!" While we do not have the power to interfere with the effects, WE DO have the power interfere with the causes! That is where the opportunity lies. We do have the power to plant the seeds of the ideas of liberty. And that is the job of the libertarian....to plant! And to not only plant, but to plant abundantly! When a farmer looks out at his 500 acres, does he throw out a handful of seeds, or does he throw them out by the thousands? When he throws out the seeds, does he start whining at the ground, saying "I want my harvest right now!" No, of course not. He knows that it doesn't work that way. There is no immediacy. But he does know that the effect is built into the cause. He does know that the harvest will come as an effect. He does know that his job was to take care of the cause. That's our job. Laser-like focus on the cause. Persistent speaking of the ideas of liberty. Sow the wind; reap the whirlwind. The circumstances will ultimately reflect our efforts, whether it be today, tomorrow, in 10 years, in 100 years...whatever! The truth never runs out of time.
"Vaccine Passports"? ... "War on Cash,"? ... The common thread is that these authoritarian ideas are war on our freedom. Total surveillance has been sought by authoritarians for thousands of years; always with the goal of trying to control how people move, or how they spend their money. The spread of the ideas of Liberty are necessary in order to save us from encroaching tyranny.
Just as many US states are seeing Covid numbers plummet, Klaus "trans-humanist" Schwab's World Economic Forum is pushing a new "smart mask" that not only tells you when to take a breath of fresh air: it also warns you to put it on if you've forgotten it. All tracked through your mobile phone. It is one more step toward China's Orwellian "social credit" system (in fact, the mask itself was developed by a Chinese firm!). And the billionaire elites want to shove it down our throats.
A month after Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced an end to all coronavirus restrictions, covid numbers continue to crash in the state. While Fauci was quick to attack Abbott's move to open Texas, when asked this week why the doom he predicted did not come about he had no answer. Also today: Baseball is back in Texas and vaccine passports are ruled out.

The person who determines the terminology of the debate will ultimately win the debate. Consider a sports team with well-known strengths and weaknesses. If this team is able to set the rules of the game (to which their opponents must abide), there is little chance that they will ever lose. Therefore, competitive sports have mutually agreed upon sets of rules that are as close as possible to neutral, insofar as the rules do not automatically favour one style of play over another. In political debate, the same applies. Why is it that for over a year, debates over the coronavirus have been framed as an argument between wanting people to be healthy versus not caring (or caring minimally) about the health of others? The reason is simple. If those who favour an all-encompassing bio-security state are to win the argument, they must disguise their unapologetic authoritarianism behind a mask of compassion. By deceptively defining busy-body authoritarianism as kindness, one must define liberty as callous and cruel in the context of such terminology. The reality could not be further from the truth, but too often, liberty minded people have fallen into the traps purposefully set for them by the authoritarians. Arguments in favour of liberty have nothing to do with proportionality and risk management in the pursuit of watering down highly immoral authoritarian ideologies. Liberty is a state of mankind which by definition, not only prohibits violence among ordinary people, but much more importantly, it prohibits the state from exercising its naturally violent tendencies against ordinary men, women and children. Unlike microscopic viruses which have never been contained in human history and are not being contained now, the power of government can be contained and has been contained throughout human history. The profoundest moments in the history of the English speaking world have been those where government power is restrained. Magna Carta, the Petition of Right, Habeas Corpus, the English Bill of Rights and the American Bill of Rights are all shining examples of state power being restrained and held to account in the name of free people. The story of authoritarianism is much more grim. History shows that authoritarianism either fails instantly or it fails in the long term. Central banks which were designed to artificially stabilise money supply (a task as impossible as trying to catch a virus with a fishing net) have created inflation beyond the wildest nightmares of those living in a time when central banks were either non-existent or less powerful than they became in the 20th and 21st centuries. In Britain, the state run National Health Service has done little to keep the population healthy in spite of the money spent on it. What advances there have been in general health, have largely been the result of medicines and technologies that were initially invented in the private sector (often before being regulated to death by the public sector). Lockdowns have not made a statistically significant difference in mortality statistics as is easily observed when one compares countries like Japan and Sweden against countries including Belgium, Italy and the United Kingdom. In the United States, one look at comparatively low-tax/low-lockdown Florida and high tax/mega-lockdown California, and this point is also readily observed. Although lockdowns failed to achieve their alleged goal in terms of “public health”, many businesses in heavily locked-down jurisdictions will never re-open. With these businesses gone, so too will jobs be gone, so too will safe streets be gone and so too will human freedom be gone. Instead, there will be homeless people relying on collectively expensive but individually disappointing government handouts for the foreseeable future. Then there will be a temporarily “luckier” class of people whose rents and mortgages will be subsidised by the state…that is until the state either loses interest in the matter or simply runs out of money to print due to hyper-inflation that can no longer be swept under the carpet. If this sounds like science fiction, it is in fact already happening in parts of Europe and many of America’s biggest cities – California’s cities being some of the worst examples. The authoritarianism of lockdown fails in both the short and the long term. Liberty minded people must therefore have the confidence to accurately define the lockdown debate as one of freedom versus state control. Virus deaths are roughly the same under each system, although deaths from literally every other disease are far worse under the authoritarian model. Moving beyond issues of health, economic performance, employment, general prosperity, social peace, personal happiness and human autonomy are all the big winners if freedom is chosen. This is true even if we compare the “new normal” to a pre-2020 “old normal” which itself was still too shackled by government regulation, high taxation, central bank created inflation, market manipulation and the alliance between big corporations and big government that has gone from worryingly big to hellishly big over the last year. Liberty simply means live and let live. So long as one does not harm another person or their property, defraud another person or group of people or cheat in order to achieve one’s goals, there is little else off limits. When live and let live is contrasted with the “enslave and let die through a mass campaign of deception” liberty will always win the argument and liberty minded people will always have the benefit of truth on their side.

Investigative journalist Julie Kelly has gone where few mainstream journalists have dared to go: deep into the US government cases against the January 6th "insurrectionists." What she found is shocking. Is the government pursuing actual justice...or political 'justice'?

On March 24th, Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky signed what was essentially a declaration of war on Russia. In the document, titled Presidential Decree No. 117/2021, the US-backed Ukrainian leader declared that it is the official policy of Ukraine to take back Crimea from Russia. The declaration that Ukraine would take back Crimea from Russia also followed, and was perhaps instigated by, President Biden’s inflammatory and foolish statement that “Crimea is Ukraine.” US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was a chief architect of the US-backed coup against Ukraine in 2014, continued egging on the Ukrainians, promising full US support for the “territorial integrity” of Ukraine. Many Americans wonder why they are not even half as concerned about the territorial integrity of the United States! Not to be outdone, at the beginning of this month US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin – who previously served on the board of missile-maker Raytheon – called his counterpart in Ukraine and promised "unwavering US support for Ukraine's sovereignty." As the US considers Crimea to be Ukrainian territory, this is clearly a clear green light for Kiev to take military action. Washington is also sending in weapons. Some 300 tons of new weapons have arrived in the past weeks and more is on the way. As could be expected, Moscow has responded to Zelensky’s decree and to the increasingly bellicose rhetoric in Kiev and Washington by re-positioning troops and other military assets closer to its border with Ukraine. Does anyone doubt that if the US were in the same situation - for example, if China installed a hostile and aggressive government in Mexico - the Pentagon might move troops in a similar manner? But according to the media branch of the US military-industrial-Congressional-media complex, Russian troop movements are not a response to clear threats from a neighbor, but instead are just more “Russian aggression.” The unhinged US “experts” behind the 2014 coup against the elected Ukrainian president are back in power and they are determined to finish the job – even if it means World War III! The explicit US backing of Ukraine’s military ambitions in the region are a blank check to Kiev. But it is a check that Kiev would be wise to avoid cashing. Back in 1956 the US government pumped endless propaganda into Hungary promising military backing for an uprising against its Soviet occupiers. When the Hungarians, believing Washington’s lies, did rise up they found themselves all alone and facing Soviet retaliation. Despite the cruel US propaganda, at least Eisenhower was wise enough to realize that no one would benefit from a nuclear war over Budapest. Why is it any of our business whether Crimea is part of Ukraine or part of Russia? Why is it any of our business if the Russian-speaking population of eastern Ukraine prefer being aligned with Russia? Why, for that matter, are unproven allegations of Russian meddling in our elections a violation of the “rules-based international order” but an actual US-backed coup against an elected Ukrainian government is not? We are seeing foreign policy made by Raytheon and the other US military contractors, through cut-outs in government like Austin and others. Feckless US foreign policy “experts” believe their own propaganda about Russia and are on the verge of taking us to war over it. It seems as if Americans are sleepwalking through this dangerous minefield. Let us hope they soon wake up before we're all blown up.
In a shock interview over the weekend, President Biden's son, Hunter, revealed that the laptop the media assured us was "Russian disinformation" could "absolutely" be his. He also revealed weeks-long benders on crack and vodka with no sleep...and that he doesn't remember taking his laptop to be repaired. Clearly the Biden Administration is goading Ukraine to provoke a war with Russia. How are these related?
How successful would the political classes be in expanding their powers if they had to deal with a population of individuals that were unafraid and who guarded their liberty with their lives? Liberty requires eternal vigilance. Be wary of the fear peddlers. The emotion of fear is the tool of tyranny.
Even the establishment experts seem to be in total disagreement with each other - and often with themselves - over the experimental Covid "vaccine." Does it prevent the illness? Lessen the illness? Provide lasting immunity? Temporary immunity? Is it safe for all? So many questions, but so few reliable answers.
