Feeding fairy tales to American citizens is the modus operandi of Washington D.C. The latest on the economic front is a real doozy. When the (unconstitutional) Fed counterfeits dollars, it ultimately results in a rise in prices for goods and services. Americans suffer a lower standard of living by being forced to buy less with the dollars that they worked for. Does this immoral process sound like it's 'good for society' to you?
A 100 day review of US policy toward China has determined - surprise! - that not only is China the top threat, but that the Pentagon needs to stop jawboning the threat and start acting on it...whatever that means. The policy review was conducted by a former employee of the Center for a New American Security...which is funded by weapons manufacturers and foreign governments including Taiwan! Also today: Has Fauci jumped the shark with his "I am Science!" pronouncement?
Rep. Thomas Massie has called for the entire CDC top leadership to be fired over its "constant stream of lies" during the past year of coronavirus. That's a great idea. But after that, we need to take a hard look at why we have a CDC at all. Do we need a highly-politicized, centralized entity making pronouncements they pretend are laws binding us to do as they say? Also today: good news on how to stop vaccine passports; free weed in Washington - but there's a catch; and the plexiglass profiteering scam.

Man is free, which means he can choose to seek out that which is true and align his life with it; or he can resist that which is true and foolishly fight against it. Since it is true that man is free, those who fight against it seek to wipe out the freedom of others. For those who choose this path, the ultimate goal is always the same: "to rule the world," "to fix the world," "to control the world," "to dominate the world," etc., etc. Instead of fixating on the one thing that they actually have the power to do: to "rule" themselves, to "fix" themselves, to "control" themselves, they fixate their gaze outwards instead. It's always "the world" that must be "remade." In a world of 7+ billion one-of-a-kind and exquisitely unique individuals, the pinnacle goal that the "controllers" strive to achieve is "one world government" to rule them all, as if it's possible (or even desirable) to create one set of man-made laws for every person on the planet. Of course, major and insurmountable obstacles stand in the way of this. Free individuals form their own communities, create their own traditions and customs, adopt shared beliefs, follow their own religions, and form their own political institutions. Hence, when one group of people set out to dominate another group of people, the latter will defend themselves and risk their lives in doing so. War erupts to fight against and beat back the aggressors. The root of war is always a false idea -- the desire to dominate others. The only true power that we have is to dominate ourselves, not others. And so, throughout history, we read of one empire after another, (i.e., one group of people who stretch out their domination over vast swaths of land) only to end up broke, bankrupt, overstretched, exhausted, and in chaos both economically and morally. Those who strive for "one world government" seek to wipe out differences between people. They want to abolish traditions, customs and shared beliefs. They want to abolish religions. They want to abolish national borders and political institutions. They want to abolish logic and critical thinking; and want only steered emotional reactions and obedience. And where is all of this ending up? The same place that it always ends up -- bankruptcy, mass suffering; accompanied by economic and moral decay. With Covid, we got an extremely bitter taste of what happens when there is one narrative that the whole planet is expected to follow. To begin with, everything that counters the one narrative is suppressed and censored. Next, when the prescribed "solutions" are wrong, they're wrong for everyone! Lockdowns were wrong ... and everyone went down with the ship (aside from the politically connected, of course). Masks and social distancing? Wrong! ... everyone goes down. It takes the courage and fortitude of a tiny minority, that's armed with the truth, to buck the trend and break the single narrative to pieces. In the case of Covid, one of the greatest stars has been Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis. In a population dense state, with many elderly people to boot, DeSantis opted for freedom and won! Why? Because freedom will never let you down. The truth never fails. If it did, it wouldn't be the truth! Individual liberty is the truth. DeSantis was followed by others, notably Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Once Florida and Texas (despite the relentless doomsayer predictions) opted for freedom, everything began to change for the better. Only the authoritarian stubborn continue to hang on, probably out of spite. Where would we be today without Florida and Texas proving that the one official narrative and "solutions" were wrong? We'd be experiencing an even deeper and darker level of suffering for sure. The lessons in this unprecedented power grab episode are the same as they've ever been. One official narrative and prescription of policies for the whole world is a ridiculous and deadly idea. Why must everyone go down the wrong path? With Covid, we now (after the damage has been done) see that the official narrative and prescriptions were horrendously wrong. "One world government" is not only impractical, it is completely undesirable. It leaves no room for dissent, for discussion, for debate, for people to choose their own way. It's a one world nightmare! The other major lesson is that it never takes a majority to prevail. Governor DeSantis was not in the majority. The majority were all following each other over the cliff. DeSantis slammed on the brakes and refused to jump off with them. He surely had to know that he would suffer the slings and arrows of the majority by opting to follow the truth. The slings and arrows came and went, and DeSantis and the state of Florida stand victorious. Standing for Liberty and Freedom, if done even by a single individual, is all that it takes to turn the authoritarian tide. Let each of us, in our own small circles of influence, be that one.
A new study on Covid lockdowns in Germany shows that destroying the freedom and livelihood of civilians to fight a virus by locking the country down was pointless. Any "credit" claimed for the lockdowns was actually due to the cases already falling before implemented. Will justice be served? Also today, TX Gov. Abbott partly redeems himself by signing new vaccine passport prohibition.

I have my doubts whether the Putin-Biden summit in Geneva will take place later this month, but even if somehow it is pulled off, recent Biden Administration blunders mean the chance anything of substance will be achieved is virtually nil. The Biden Administration was supposed to signal a return of the “adults” to the room. No more bully Trump telling NATO it’s useless, ripping up international climate treaties, and threatening to remove troops from the Middle East and beyond. US foreign policy would again flourish under the steady, practiced hands of the experts. Then Biden blurted out in a television interview that President Putin was a killer with no soul. Then US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discovered the hard way that his Chinese counterparts were in no mood to be lectured on an “international rules-based order” that is routinely flouted by Washington. It’s going to be a rough ten days for President Biden. Just as news breaks that under the Obama/Biden Administration the US was routinely and illegally spying on its European allies, he is preparing to meet those same allies, first at the G7 summit in England on June 11-13 and then at the June 14th NATO meeting in Brussels. Make no mistake, Joe Biden is up to his eyeballs in this scandal. Ed Snowden Tweeted late last month when news broke that the US teamed up with the Danes to spy on the rest of Europe, that “Biden is well-prepared to answer for this when he soon visits Europe since, of course, he was deeply involved in this scandal the first time around.” Though Germany’s Merkel and France’s Macron have been loyal US lapdogs, the revelation of how Washington treats its allies has put them in the rare position of having to criticize Washington. “Outrageous” and “unacceptable” are how they responded to the news. Russia has been routinely accused (without evidence) of malign conduct and interference in internal US affairs, but it turns out that the country actually doing the spying and meddling was the US all along – and against its own allies! Surely this irony is not lost on Putin. Biden has bragged in the US media that he would be taking Putin to task for Russia’s treatment of political dissidents like Alexei Navalny. Biden wrote recently in the Washington Post, that when he meets Putin, “I will again underscore the commitment of the United States, Europe and like-minded democracies to stand up for human rights and dignity." Perhaps President Putin will remind him of how the Biden Administration continues the slow-motion murder of Julian Assange for the non-crime of being a journalist exposing government misdeeds. Perhaps Putin will remind Biden of how US political dissidents are being treated, such as the hundreds arrested for what the Democrats and the mainstream media laughably call the “January 6th Insurrection.” Many of these non-violent and unarmed protesters have been held in solitary confinement with no chance of bail, even though they have no prior arrests or convictions. Most await trial on minor charges that may not even take place until next year. The Washington foreign policy establishment is hopelessly corrupt. The weaponization of the US dollar to bring the rest of the world to heel is backfiring. Only a serious change in course – toward non-interventionism and non-aggression – can avert a disaster. Time is running out.
From, most recently, the Wall Street Journal to the Daily Mail to Fauci's own newly-revealed emails, the once-"conspiratorial" theory that the Covid virus may have leaked from a lab has now gone fully mainstream. What might it mean...and why is the Pentagon so deeply involved? Also today: fake news on kids in the ER. California county cuts Covid death count by a whopping 25 percent. And more...

In the Thursday episode of The HighWire, host Del Bigtree has brought us a standout interview with premier libertarian communicator Ron Paul. The just over one-hour wide-ranging interview is among Paul’s more informative and fascinating interviews from his decades of promoting libertarian ideas. Starting off with a discussion of libertarianism, the interview then proceeds to discussion of several other matters including inflation, the Great Reset scheme for suppressing people across the world, and two matters that are a focus for Bigtree and his show — coronavirus crackdowns and coronavirus vaccines. Bigtree’s new interview with Paul may be watched here (starting at 1:17:27): Make sure to watch for a couple minutes after the interview as well to hear Bigtree discuss how, after his Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) organization announced at its Twitter account that it would be releasing emails of prominent coronavirus fearmonger Anthony Fauci obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, Twitter blocked ICAN’s Twitter account. You can find more information about those emails here. Libertarian Films? Liberal Colleges? A Diet of Insects & Lab Grown Meat? -- You Asked & We Answered!6/4/2021
Ron Paul's two co-hosts, Daniel McAdams & Chris Rossini, answer viewer questions. Thank you for all of the submissions!
