Cats, Dogs & Pigeons Are Now Dinner In Socialist Venezuela

Even though the odds of Bernie Sanders being the Democratic Party's nominee have severely dwindled, he is still sticking around and hoodwinking anyone that's willing to listen. So, it provides an opportune time to maybe reach a few people before they fall for the siren song of "FREE".

To give examples of the deadliness of socialism, we don't have to go back to how American pilgrims starved to death by practicing communism, and only managed to survive after adopting private property rights. We don't have to go back to the Soviets and communist China, and the hundreds of millions that perished at the hands of their own governments and an idea that can never (ever) produce the results that it promises.

You can just look at today's Cuba, or North Korea, or even Venezuela. Do Americans not know about these countries because they are not on TV? Has MSNBC never told its viewers that they can get their desired socialism with a plane ticket to Venezuela?

No doubt, it's a challenge getting through to Americans, who sit in air conditioned homes, watching Bernie on their multiple TV's, and tweeting on their $700 smartphones about how much they hate "capitalism". After all, who doesn't like free stuff? Who doesn't like something for nothing? Propagandists for socialism take advantage of a human weakness.

But right now socialist Venezuela is in shambles, and it's getting worse by the day. Sadly Venezuelans put their full faith in their socialist government, and it has produced total disaster. They did the "raise the minimum wage" thing. They've instituted other price controls as well. They've printed money like there's no tomorrow. They've seized warehouses of food suppliers.

Venezuelan socialists took a country with the largest oil reserves in the world and turned it into one that has to import oil! Think about that.

While Americans go into supermarkets to find the shelves overflowing with goods, poor Venezuelans that fell for a deadly idea find that their shelves are bare.

And now, to top it off, hungry Venezuelans are hunting for dogs, cats, pigeons to eat.

Pigeons!

It's time for Americans to turn off the televisions, close their government schoolbooks, and get to the truth. America has serious problems because of a hyper-interventionist government. It started a little over 100 years ago, and was hysterically given the misnomer "progressivism".

It's completely ridiculous to lash out against "free markets" and "capitalism". You might as well throw punches at your shadow.

Free markets are the absence of government intervention. We don't have anything that even remotely resembles it. As a result, the capital, the savings, the productivity that have been accumulated are shrinking. America is eating its seed corn. This has to be reversed, or someday American pigeons will be 'whats for dinner'.

Don't expect Bernie Sanders to ask everyone to join him on a trip to Venezuela. It's much easier to hound the productive people that remain in this country. It's easier to promise FREE stuff and "rights" that don't exist.
